Hmm...write all your findings! Maybe dedicate each page to a dimension ID? That would be really interesting! Overall, just documenting your findings! Or, you could write your feelings. I do that sometimes... p.s. That rock sounds very cool! The shapeshifter a bit scary, though. Usually shapeshifters aren't so bad, I've learned.

Thoughts on Quirin?

Many, many things have changed recently, as have my thoughts on the man. But to put it simply, as long as he makes Ulla happy, that’s enough for me.

For a long time I hated him for taking my beloved research partner away from me. So many times I imagined what it would have been like if she never met him. Would I be happier? Would she be happier? But some questions are cursed to remain unanswered.

While Ulla and I were on our journey to the Eternal Library long ago, I realized that maybe I didn’t deserve her. We had conflicting thoughts about how to handle the Library and its challenges, and I hurt her. So I thought there was no way she’d ever return to me.

In the years after the incident with the Eternal Library, I twisted the blame to put it on Quirin. I made myself think it was his fault that all of these bad things happened to Ulla and I. And he was the reason we fell apart. But as I reflect more on the story now, with my judgment unclouded, I blame only myself.

Quirin is a good man who takes pride in protecting his family, and I admire him for that fact. However I still can’t manage to hold a conversation with the man.
